DESIGNER & ARTIST
TEAM 8 LOGO
Team 8 is a progressive political group from Maryland’s 8th district. For the logo, I drew inspiration from the iconic dome of the Maryland State House, the largest wooden dome in the United States constructed without nails. This architectural marvel served as the foundation for the design, while Futura typeface was selected for its clean, modern aesthetic and the perfectly round counters of the number 8. To set Team 8 apart from other districts, I chose blue as the primary color, creating a unique visual identity distinct from the red, black, and yellow of the Maryland State Flag commonly used by other districts.
